Well actually I got a bit farther. I have it sketched on canvas too. I'd hoped to paint it today, but wouldn't you know, as soon as I start to work on something that's when I hear back about other things that need attended to first.
I did hire Eli as my post office boy, so at least I won't have to stop and do that every day.
Mike perfectionist that he is, is still busy scraping clean, adding antiquing oil, and polishing the old art table for the nook/studio. Now I'm going to feel bad when I get paint on it. :(
We need to head out today to find a stool for it and to get some groceries.
So adding paint to this girl is pretty far down on my list, but you never know...
I'll be trying to think up a good name for her while I'm busy doing all these other things.
Any suggestions?
She is sooo CUTE!! Love her! Love seeing pencil sketches. I'm not very good with naming so I'll leave the suggestions to someone else. Hope you get to paint her soon! :)

ReplyDeleteI've been busy on something too. Woke me in the middle of the night and I rough sketched it and back to sleep. I woke the next morning to the idea of "Wow, could I really do that?" I'll post a pic later of the sketch and start of background. It's on an old board.
I can't wait to see her in color! She's going to be adorable. I'm sure she will have a great name too.
