Can you believe I'm considering a new series..."Two By Two"?
I know, I'll get back to the others eventually. I'm still relatively young. I got time. :)
"A Very Deer Couple" in my shop now.
We've been keeping busy around here with all things hockey.
Eli just finished up his regular season on Friday and play-offs begin tonight.
They had a spectacular record with only 1 loss and 2 ties.
Unfortunately we lost both home ice advantage and a place to practice when this happened on Valentine's Day.

Yep, that's our ice arena collapsing under the weight of the snow. There was a youth tournament going on at the time and the kids had just gone into the locker room 5 minutes earlier. Luckily the roof began creaking so people had a bit of notice to take cover. Miraculously no one was injured.
It happened at around 2:30. Eli would have been on the ice at 5:30 for practice. Still don't like thinking about it.
Anyway, Mike found a rink for the boys to practice on last night. I should have gone with them. I stayed home so I wouldn't miss any of the USA vs. CAnada game. Turns out we don't get MSNBC any more!!!!! I ended up watching ice dancing while Mike happily enjoyed the game on a giant screen at the ice arena. That's what I get, I guess.
My nephew texted me updates the whole time declaring "it was the best game EVA!!!!!!!".
:(
At least we won. :)
