Intense Knitting!

I can't knit.
I wish I could knit.
My grandma tried to teach me several times when I was little. I'd get the hang of it, but then I'd become bored with it and soon forget everything I learned.
I do have fond memories of sitting in her apartment with her while she knitted. I would read a book or watch t.v. while she knitted away. And she smoked.
I remember the cigarette just barely in her mouth. It would go up and down as she inhaled and exhaled. Just hanging by the dry of her lips.
It still makes me smile to think of it.
Eventually she gave up smoking, but she kept right on knitting.
Intensely.

Find it here.

I'd be able to teach you to knit! Too bad you don't live near me! :( I used to teach knitting to elementary school kids. I've taught about 100 eight year olds, so I'm sure I could teach you :)
