Retro Mom

"You're So Pretty".
In my shop.

I'm feeling all scatterbrained these days. So much to do and so little getting done.
Miles removed from a 1950's sitcom mom. They got everything done...right...and managed to look good doing it.
It's 4:39 and I haven't showered yet. :(
Mike's been out of the house all week doing his census taker training. Yep, he's going to be a census taker for the next few months. It's all hush-hush though. He's not allowed to talk about it for the next 72 years. That's when they release the information to the public. We'll talk about it then. ;)

Anyway, things going on. Things going on. SAT's for Eli and TAylor tomorrow. Prom in 2 weeks for Eli and TAylor. Aaron's HIGH SHOOL GRADUATION!!! on June 4th. I've been watching old movies and going through old pictures trying to get ready for his party. Today I sat down and made a list of things that I hope he never forgets. It makes me both happy and sad to look back. But mostly happy. :) I'm pretty confident that he'll be able to say he had a happy childhood. I know I enjoyed it.

I've also been thinking about my blog and how I've been neglecting it lately. I only seem to stop in when I have something to put in the shop. I really want to make it more than that. To only say things when I really have something to say. That's what I want. We'll see what happens.

But for now. There's a new painting in my shop. :0
