Aaron and Taylor came home with this little sweetie on Sunday. No they didn't ask. I'm thinking they knew what the answer would be if they asked.
Aaron paid for her and she was supposed to live at Taylor's house. But Taylor's parents are stronger than us, I guess, and were able to say no to that little face.
So she's here for now, until Taylor finds an apartment.
We should be mad, I know.
But she's deaf and they were taken in by the "we'll probably have to end up putting her down."
So how can we be mad at them for having nice big hearts?
Training her will be a challenge, and Penny has not warmed up to her quite yet.
I'll keep you updated and post lots of pictures.
I promise.
Her name is Ruca and we love her already.

ReplyDeleteOh how sweet is she...and Ruca that made me laugh that in spanish was in reference to "My lady" by the cholo's in the 70's....not sure how exactly it was spelled but it sounds the same...LOL cute love the kindness of your heart for animals we have 4 dogs...LOL

Diane you keep using the word little with Ruca. I don't think that there is anything little about her. Look at those feet. She looks like my nephew's American Bulldog Bo. I'm sooo sorry that she can't hear. I get the feeling that we will be seeing some DD original's with this cutie pie as a new member. Maybe you could do a fund raiser rubber stamp for hearing inpaired dogs? Just a thought. Since you are a person of faith you know what they say "God has his plans". So maybe that's how she found her way to your home. And it doesn't sound like the boy's are spending too much time in the doghouse. Sorry, I just couldn't help myself. Good Luck with Ruca!
