And just like that...

Poof! It was over.

Vacation week just flew by!

We had a wonderful time, but of course it's nice to be home.
We got back Saturday and I am only now getting a chance to catch up.
There are emails to answer, prints to print, and I was sick all day yesterday.:(
Still waiting for my cold medicine to wear off to know how I really feel today.
We had big fun, but it's good to be home.
Didn't sketch as much as I thought I might.

I started out okay. Even forced myself to work in my brand new sketchbook.
But it's so intimidating with it's fresh white pages.
I just hate to mess them up, so before long it was back to my old notebooks.

And even then I didn't get much on paper.
The rocking of the dock, the warm sun, and, yes, maybe a few too many mango coladas have a way of forcing you to doze off.

Okay, back to work.
More pictures soon. :)

  2. I love the big family picture. If its anything like my family, there are so many complaints trying to get it taken , But so worth it in the end. I also love the sketches, so cute, I can't wait to see them develop.

  6. I know the sketchbook-problem myself! ;)
Good to know that I'm not alone.
My solution is to draw on seperate sheets and glue them in. Stupid, I know!
