What I'm working on...

"Three Little Birds"
...as in the Bob Marley song. I had no idea that's what is was called until I got the request.
Still need to add the text: " 'every little thing is gonna be alright" and maybe some crackle or at least a bit of distressing.
It's a little boring as is.

I've just been catching up around the house the last few days since I did decide to head down to VA with the family on Saturday.
Aaron put on a good show right up until the minute he came down with some severe heartburn. He tried to power through but eventually had to call it a night half way into his second set. He felt really bad, but everyone was very understanding.

Did I mention that Flyght was recently in the recording studio. A real one this time. (not like the one Gorilla music provided. Boo!)
They recorded a demo with 4 original songs and it sounds great. It's my current favorite thing to listen to. It's been sent off to be mastered and will be available on Sept. 4th (hopefully) when they are one of the opening bands for Fuel at the South Park Rib Festival.

Josh had his high school orientation last night. Yep, he's a freshman this year and Eli's a senior. I can hardly believe it.
Besides that the only other thing of interest around here is the oppressive heat. Makes it hard to function.

Oh yeah, and our appliance guy was able to save the fridge. Thanks, Ray! You saved us a bundle!

Keep cool eveyone and have fun at Kennywood Lou! (lou=eli) :)

  2. I love the 'three little birds' AS IS!! Why is it that talented folks always think whatever they're working on needs "a little something else"?!! Well, in this case...in my humble opinion...it doesn't need a thing else!! *Tweet Tweet Tweet!*

  7. Tasted some of that oppressive heat in July in Nova Scotia. It is really draining! Love this newest piece. Sweet as always. Kudos to your son and his band. Things are looking very bright!
