Our dryer died. Once and for all this time.
My parents bought it (and the washer) for us when we got married almost 22 years ago.
So it was really living on borrowed time.
In fact, for the last few months it wouldn't turn off at all. It would finish drying the clothes
and then just keep tumbling until we went down to turn it off. We tried to look at it in a positive way, in that the clothes were always fluffed.
We live in a very old house. With a very "old-housey" basement.
So we will be replacing our dryer with your basic, white, top-loading, get-the-job-done model.
We actually found a few nearby on Craig's list that will probably do the job.
We'll see.

Nevertheless, a girl can dream about having a nice, fancy laundry room, can't she?
Or in this case, a girl can Pin can't she?
So I'll just keep pinning and be thankful that I have clothes to wash
(and dry again soon) and a charming old house to do it in.
And, as you can see, it's probably for the best anyway
since my brain would probably explode trying to settle on just one style anyway.
We just had to replace our washer and dryer recently too. Washers and dryers are not like they used to be!! Now, our dryer sings to us when it's finished, and it adjusts it's own time to dry, and shows the adjusted time on a panel on the front...during the drying process!! WOW! Have fun looking for them! ^_^
