Mike cut me out a little wooden owl.

And then I painted.

I think I need to see a whole row of them in 

a rainbow of colors!

New Paintings

Sorry, they're all staying here this time.

I used the baking soda "chalk paint" recipe I 

found via Pinterest to paint our little bathroom chair,

our round side table and our coffee table/chest.

There was a lot of sanding involved which I am not a big

fan of, but I am pretty happy with them.

(Can you see Cookie way off in the distance?)

Hello all.

Hope you are having a lovely weekend.

Just wanted to mention, in case anyone noticed,

that I had to remove almost all of my archived blog entries.

From 2006 -2012.

I once again happened upon a site that was offering my images

up as free downloads and had finally had enough of it.

Many of my older images were not watermarked 

and were just too easy for people to grab and do what they wanted with them.

I know this won't completely stop these wrong-doers, but hopefully it will slow them down 

a bit.

I hope to get the older images watermarked and slowly re add the older entries,

but it is very time consuming and frankly, I'd just rather be painting new things.

Anyway, Onward ho!

SPRING!

Sorry to say that I didn't get this posted here

before it sold.

I went fast! 

But if anyone would like to have it as a mounted print,

just say the word and get to it.

I think it would be a nice addition

to a young girl's Easter basket.

I would even paint the sides up real pretty, just like the original.

So that's it.

I'm trying to keep to a pretty focused painting, cleaning, work out

schedule, so writing interesting blogposts have been pushed to the back burner.

But the pictures are still pretty. :)
